HTHS High Temperature and High Shear Lubricating Oil Dynamic Viscosity Tester
Multi capillary viscometer method
XF-5481
ASTM D5481
SH/T 3070

The XF-5481 HTHS High Temperature and High Shear Lubricating Oil Dynamic Viscometer (Multiple Capillary Viscometer Method) is a standard test method used by our company to measure apparent viscosity at high temperatures and high shear rates using a multiple capillary viscometer in strict accordance with ASTM D5481 Standard Test Method for Measuring Apparent Viscosity at High-Temperature and High-Shear Rate by Multicell Capillary Viscometer The technical requirements for manufacturing petroleum product testing instruments. It is suitable for determining the apparent viscosity of lubricating oil at high temperature and high shear rate, that is, measuring the high-temperature and high shear dynamic viscosity of lubricating oil, HTHS index.
The XF-5481 HTHS high-temperature and high shear lubricating oil dynamic viscosity tester (multiple capillary viscometer method) is also suitable for measuring the dynamic viscosity and high-temperature and high shear characteristics of lubricating oil under high-temperature and high shear rate conditions using the SHT 0703-2001 apparent viscosity measurement method (multiple capillary viscometer method).
XF-5481 HTHS High Temperature and High Shear Lubricating Oil Dynamic Viscometer (Multiple Capillary Viscometer Method). The testing principle of HTHS instrument is to flow the sample out of the capillary viscometer under the pressure of nitrogen (carbon dioxide) at 150 ℃± 0.1 ℃ test conditions. The apparent shear rate of the capillary viscometer can be obtained by the outflow time and pressure of the sample, and the apparent viscosity of the oil corresponding to the measured pressure can be obtained by calibrating the curve of each viscometer cell.

Main Features
1. The instrument combines the advantages of various domestic and foreign products, and has made a series of improvements in appearance design and operating program functionality, making the instrument more satisfactory to users;
2. All accessories of the instrument are made of imported original components and processing technology, and can be interchanged with imported instruments;
3. The specialized high shear viscosity calculation software makes the experimental process of the instrument simpler, more accurate, and convenient;
4. No solvent cleaning is required, and only a small amount of new sample needs to be rinsed after each experiment to enter the new testing work (usually 1-2 times), thereby reducing the cleaning work of the testing personnel and improving the efficiency of use;
5. The instrument has undergone long-term aging and durability simulation tests to ensure that any testing work can be applied to 24-hour, 365 day uninterrupted operation. Thus improving the efficiency of instrument use and greatly reducing the cost of after-sales maintenance;
6. The glass capillary tube is imported from the United States and meets the requirements of ASTM and SH/T standards. It has a diameter of 0.15mm and a length of 15-18mm;
7. For the convenience of users' usage needs, the instrument can set different shear rates and test temperatures according to actual usage conditions;
8. Made of all aluminum material, neat and beautiful, with a compact size;
9. The large touch LCD screen can intuitively display all parameters, temperature, flow changes, and other information of the experiment;
10. The software automatically recommends test pressure, and the test results can be generated in Excel report format;
