CANNON has launched a new generation of high-temperature and high shear dynamic viscosity measuring instrument - HTHS Serial II. The instrument has been redesigned in terms of safety, performance, and ease of use based on the original high-temperature and high shear dynamic viscosity measuring instrument
The new CANNON High Temperature High Shear (HTHS) capillary viscometer is used to determine the viscosity of engine lubricating oil and other oils under high temperature and high shear conditions. The HTHS Serial II measurement conditions are 150 ℃ and 1.4X106S-1, meeting all accuracy requirements of ASTM D5481 and Chinese standard SH/T0703-2001
After the sample is injected into the viscosity measurement unit, it flows through a small glass capillary under a certain pressure to obtain the desired shear rate. HTHS monitors each experiment and displays the measurement results. The data can be analyzed using the new high shear viscosity calculation software (WINDOWS version). The analysis results can be stored, displayed, and printed
