Principle:
This standard specifies the method for determining the density of crude oil and petroleum products using a U-shaped vibrating tube densitometer. This standard is applicable to raw materials that can be processed into single-phase liquids under test temperature and pressure, with a density range of 600-1100kg/m3

Inject a small amount of sample (usually less than 1mL) into a temperature controlled sample tube, record the vibration frequency or period, and calculate the density of the sample using the previously obtained sample tube constant. The constant of the sample tube is filled with a known density standard using the sample tube
