Its pore size ranges from 1-10 angstroms, which is one billionth to one billionth of a meter (equivalent to one sixth the size of Escherichia coli and one third the size of a virus). Reverse osmosis is a membrane separation technology that utilizes the function of selectively permeable (semi permeable) membranes with pressure as the driving force. When the pressure applied in the system is greater than the osmotic pressure of the inlet solution, water molecules continuously pass through the membrane, flow into the central pipe through the water production channel, and then impurities such as ions, organic matter, bacteria, viruses, etc. in the effluent flow out at one end, which are trapped on the inlet side of the membrane and then flow out at the outlet end of the concentrated water, thus achieving the purpose of separation and purification.

Cleaning method:

Under normal operating conditions, reverse osmosis membranes may also be contaminated by inorganic scale, colloids, microorganisms, metal oxides, and other substances. The deposition of these substances on the membrane surface can cause a decrease in the output or desalination rate of the reverse osmosis device, an increase in pressure difference, and even irreversible damage to the membrane. Therefore, in order to restore good permeability and desalination performance, chemical cleaning of the membrane is necessary.

Process flow:

Raw water → Raw water tank → Raw water pump → Multi medium filter (quartz sand filter) → Activated carbon filter → Soft water processor (with scale inhibitor device added) → Precision filter → High pressure pump → Primary reverse osmosis (RO) device → Ultraviolet sterilization device (ozone sterilization device) → Water point

Features of the equipment:

1. The raw water solenoid valve automatically controls the water inlet.

2. Pre treatment can be automatically flushed, and the RO membrane has both automatic and manual flushing functions.

3. The high-pressure pump is equipped with high and low pressure protection, and the water tank level control is linked with the water pump.

Accessory functions:

1. Raw water tank: mainly solves the problem of unstable tap water pressure, reducing mechanical failures caused by frequent start-up or unstable tap water pressure during the operation of the lift pump.

2. Quartz sand filter: Tap water enters from the upper end of the tank and flows evenly from the upper end of the filter layer to the lower end through the upper water distributor. After passing through the filter layer, tap water is separated from the filter layer by the lower water distributor, forming filtered water.

3. Activated carbon filter: The internal structure of the activated carbon filter is similar to that of a quartz sand filter. After adsorption by activated carbon, the residual chlorine in tap water can generally be reduced to below 0.1mg/l.

4. Precision filter: mainly uses a 5us melt blown filter element, which can remove small particles and further create conditions for reverse osmosis inflow.

5. High pressure pump: provides the necessary power for reverse osmosis operation.

6. Reverse osmosis system: The reverse osmosis system is the core component of reverse osmosis pure water equipment. In the design of reverse osmosis, the number, brand, and arrangement of filter membrane elements are mainly considered.
