The machine vision inspection system uses a CCD camera to convert the detected target into an image signal, which is transmitted to an image processing system. Glass quality defect detection adopts CCD imaging technology and intelligent light source. The system lighting adopts backlight lighting, which means placing a light source on the back of the glass, and the light passes through the inspected glass and enters the human camera.
When the light is vertically incident on the glass and there are no impurities in the glass, the direction of emission will not change, and the light detected by the target surface of the CCD camera is also uniform; When glass contains impurities, the emitted light will change, and the light detected by the target surface of the CCD camera will also change accordingly.
There are mainly two types of defects contained in glass: one is light absorbing type (such as sand particles and tin inclusions). When light passes through the glass, the light at the location of the defect becomes weaker, and the light detected on the target surface of the CCD camera is weaker than the surrounding light; The second type is the light transmission type (such as cracks, bubbles, etc.), where the light is refracted at the defect location and the intensity of the light is greater than that of the surrounding area. Therefore, the light detected on the target surface of the CCD camera is correspondingly enhanced.
The CCD detection system can achieve automatic recognition of surface quality defect characteristics of filter, automatic sorting of positive and negative products, detection accuracy of up to 10 microns, and detection speed of up to 180 pieces/minute.
