XD-ETHPBs20

The Ethernet MODBUS TCP to PROFIBUS-DP gateway (XD-ETHPBs20) is a protocol conversion gateway produced by Xingda Yikong (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Xingda Yikong) for MODBUS TCP interface devices to access the PROFIBUS bus. In the process of converting MODBUS TCP to PROFIBUS protocol, the gateway has simple and flexible configuration, and runs very stably, truly realizing the function of MODBUS TCP to PROFIBUS.

2、 Product Features

▼ Widely applicable: Any MODBUS protocol device that can serve as a MODBUS TCP/IP client can use this product to achieve interconnection with the fieldbus PROFIBUS. The product (XD-ETHPBs20) only serves as a slave station for PROFIBUS on the PROFIBUS side; You can act as a MODBUS server on the TCP/IP side of MODBUS.

▼ Simple application: Users do not need to understand the technical details of PROFIBUS and MODBUS. Users only need to refer to this manual and the provided application examples to complete the configuration according to requirements. No complex programming is required, and connection communication can be achieved in a short time.

Transparent Communication: Users can achieve transparent communication between PROFIBUS and MODBUS based on the mapping relationship between the communication data areas of PROFIBUS and MODBUS.

3、 Technical indicators

1. The XD-ETHPBs20 interface is a PROFIBUS-DP slave on the PROFIBUS side and a server on the MODBUS TCP/IP side; The interface achieves transparent communication between PROFIBUS and MODBUS through data mapping between the communication data area of PROFIBUS and MODBUS

The gateway XD-ETHPBs20 is a DP slave on the PROFIBUS side and a server on the MODBUS device side, connected to the MODBUS device through an Ethernet interface.

2. XD-ETHPBs20, as a MODUBUS server, supports functions 03H, 04H, 05H, 06H, 0F, and 10H;
