Ball valves generally have two structures: reduced diameter and non reduced diameter channels. Regardless of the structure, the flow resistance coefficient of ball valves is relatively small. Especially for the so-called full flow type, that is, non reducing ball valves, due to their channel diameter being equal to the inner diameter of the pipeline, the local resistance loss is only the frictional resistance of the same length of pipeline, that is, among all valves, the flow resistance of analog controlled electric ball valves is small. In rocket launch and testing systems, it is required that the resistance of the conveying pipeline be as low as possible. There are two ways to reduce the resistance of pipeline systems: one is to reduce the fluid flow rate, which requires increasing the pipe diameter and valve diameter. This often has a negative impact on the economy of pipeline systems, especially for low-temperature transportation systems(Liquid hydrogen) is extremely disadvantageous; One is to reduce the local resistance of the valve, therefore, ball valves naturally become the best choice.

In order to drive away moisture and prevent condensation, electric actuators can be equipped with electric heating elements inside the host box. Outdoor actuators or environments that are too humid should generally be equipped with electric heating elements.
But some users do not pay enough attention to this, and there are occasional occurrences of circuit short circuits or mold growth caused by condensation. If the above requirements are not followed, or if the actuator is not equipped with an electric heating element, the actuator main box and control box must be opened for inspection after installation and before powering on. If condensation or circuit mold is found, it must be dried and repaired before powering on for testing, otherwise it will cause damage to the actuator.
