Single impact tester ESP-10?

The impact resistance of multi coating systems is an important indicator of automotive topcoats. In order to protect car body components, multi coating systems require corrosion resistance and mechanical pressure. Changes in coating formula or construction process may have an impact on the degree of coating damage. Conduct multiple impact tests - cold hard castings with sharp edges are thrown towards the test plate by compressed air - simulate actual pressure as much as possible. However, it is difficult to reproduce multiple impact tests. In order to improve accuracy, a single impact tester has been developed.

The single impact tester ESP-10 has been developed to test the impact resistance of multi coating systems. In addition, not only the size of the damaged area, but also the depth of the damaged area, known as the "separation surface", can be evaluated.
