In measuring the deposition rate and film thickness of thin films, INFICON's new Q-podTMSensors are a compact, low-cost, and accurate measurement solution. Its installation and operation are extremely simple. Simply connect one end of the Q-pod measuring instrument to the QCM sensor probe through a BNC cable, and the other end to a personal computer using a standard USB interface, without the need for an additional oscillator or power supply. Then, install the Q-pod software that we provide for free and start working. The Q-pod software can display deposition rate, film thickness, frequency, chip lifespan, as well as relative curves of deposition rate and coating time, and can simultaneously monitor 8 Q-pod signals. The readings of Q-pod can be recorded in a data table on the computer's hard drive, separated by commas for easy retrieval at any time.
