Reasons and solutions for insufficient water pressure in high-pressure cleaning machines:

1. Power failure, if the power supply voltage is insufficient, will affect the normal operation of the high-pressure pump motor, resulting in a decrease in the output power of the high-pressure pump and insufficient outlet pressure.
2. The lubricating oil of the high-pressure pump is aging, and due to the failure to replace the lubricating oil during use, it affects the operation of the high-pressure pump. In severe cases, it can damage the core component of the three plunger valve, resulting in insufficient water pressure.
3. Equipment outlet faults, such as high-pressure water pipe rupture, nozzle damage or blockage, and reduced sealing performance of sealing rings, can all lead to insufficient outlet pressure.

Solution suggestion: For power failures, only restoration is necessary. However, if the sealing ring is worn out, it can only be replaced regularly as it is a vulnerable part. This mainly applies to the three major components of the high-pressure pump, high-pressure water pipe, and nozzle, which need to be checked regularly. For example, the lubricating oil of the high-pressure pump should be replaced regularly, the high-pressure water pipe should be placed carefully without excessive bending, and the nozzle pressure should not be set too high. Regular inspection is also necessary to extend the service life of the high-pressure cleaning machine and better ensure that the equipment can be used.
Gap sealing is achieved by throttling the small gap between the sleeve and plunger to create a significant pressure drop, thereby achieving a sealing effect. The throttling gap of the gap seal is not formed by mechanical processing, but by the elastic deformation of the initial gap between the sleeve and the plunger under high pressure. Due to the pressure difference between the inner and outer walls of the sleeve, the throttling gap is fixed and converges, achieving the effect of throttling and pressure reduction.
The key to gap sealing lies in the geometric design of the sleeve and plunger, which is crucial for ensuring a reasonable throttling gap under high pressure. So there are high requirements for the design, processing, and assembly of raw materials. The axial dimension of the plunger is long and difficult to process. It is rarely used for plunger sealing in cleaning machines with pressures below 100MPa, and is mostly used for plunger sealing in high-pressure cleaning machines or superchargers.
3、 Combination seal
The combination seal of the cleaning machine is a combination of gap seal and packing seal, that is, the gap and seal control the leakage of high-pressure medium through the pressure deformation of the floating sleeve in the high-pressure area, and the low-pressure area uses secondary contact seal to control the leakage.
Through reasonable structural design, combined sealing can integrate the advantages of gap sealing and packing sealing, achieving good sealing effect. Due to the fact that this sealing structure also inherits the disadvantages of gap sealing, combination sealing is generally used for plunger sealing in cleaning machines or water jet cutting equipment, but this sealing form is rarely used for plunger sealing in high-pressure cleaning machines.
