There are two types of modern detection methods: offline and online. Offline detection involves taking samples on site at regular intervals (such as one hour) and then analyzing them on laboratory analytical instruments. This method has the disadvantages of small sample sizes (only measuring a few grams), insufficient representativeness, long sampling intervals, and delayed measurement results compared to production, resulting in a serious lack of guidance for production and inability to meet the requirements of modern technological development and production. Online detection is the direct monitoring of product particle size distribution and trend changes in the production pipeline, while transmitting the monitoring results to the central control room or the customer's DCS and PLC central control system.

Particle size detection is an important indicator pursued by many powder industries for product quality. RiseThe online particle size analyzer adopts the full range Mie scattering theory, fully considering the optical properties such as refractive index of the measured particles and dispersed media. Based on the changes in scattering intensity of particles of different sizes at various angles, the particle size distribution data of the particle group is reconstructed.

The data calculation of particle testing is generally divided into two methods: unconstrained fitting inversion and constrained fitting inversion. Constrained fitting inversion assumes that the particle population follows a certain distribution pattern before calculation, and then uses this pattern to invert the particle size distribution. This type of operation is relatively simple, but due to the inevitable deviation between the assumptions made in advance and the actual situation, the test data obtained by constrained fitting cannot truly reflect the actual particle size distribution of the particle group.

Unconstrained fitting inversion means that no assumptions are made about the particle population before testing, and the particle size distribution of the particle population is accurately calculated directly through light intensity. This calculation is based on reasonable detector design and granularity grading, which puts high demands on the equipment itself. The Rise online particle size analyzer adopts a non-uniform cross 3D fan-shaped matrix detector array and reasonable particle size grading, which can accurately measure the particle size distribution of particle groups.

Testing ProcessRunzhi Rise-

1. Open the online particle size analyzer through the computer. Adjust the feed ball valve and compress to the appropriate position, adjust the compressed air to the appropriate pressure (only * setting).

2. By setting the detection interval time through the operation keyboard under the display screen, the system will automatically detect the particle size distribution of the slurry in the pipeline (as shown in Figure 2). As the grinding time increases, it can be observed that the particles gradually decrease in size (as shown in Figure 3). The results of each detection can be automatically recorded, and feature values such as D10, D50, D90 can be directly displayed (as shown in Figure 4). Open each record to view the corresponding granularity distribution curve (as shown in Figure 5).

3. When the customer's granularity requirements are met, stop testing and proceed with material release or next steps.

4. All operational steps are controlled through software and connected to the process control system on the production line through a PLC control system, achieving closed-loop control. After completing one round of particle size detection, the sample measuring tank is emptied by a centrifugal pump and automatically rinsed and cleaned for the next round of particle size detection.
