Overview

As another important unit operation form of solid drying, fluidized bed is more suitable for the enhanced drying process of powdered or granular materials. This experimental device uses color changing water-resistant silicone particles as the material, and uses hot air for drying to determine its drying curve and rate curve. During the experiment, in addition to measuring the parameters of the drying operation itself, the fluidization phenomenon of the material can also be observed, and the characteristics of the top and bottom pressure difference and bed temperature of the fluidized bed can be measured.

Product Details

(1) Experimental purpose

  1. Understand the basic structure, process flow, and operating methods of fluidized bed drying equipment;
  2. Learn experimental methods for determining the drying characteristics of materials under constant drying conditions, and experimentally study the influence of drying conditions on the drying process characteristics;
  3. Master the experimental analysis methods for obtaining the drying rate curve based on the experimental drying curve, as well as the constant speed stage drying rate, critical moisture content, and equilibrium moisture content.

(2) Device features

  1. The overall structure of the equipment is a self-propelled frame structure, with locking feet installed for easy disassembly, maintenance, and handling of the system;
  2. Visualization: The upper part of the fluidized bed adopts high-strength inorganic glass nodes, which can facilitate the observation of the fluidization state of the material; The gas source is provided by a low-noise medium pressure fan and is designed with soft connections to the system;
  3. The preheating section is controlled by a heating tube combined with a pressure regulating module to regulate the temperature. The temperature measurement points on the upper and lower layers of the bed are directly read by bimetallic thermometers, and the pressure difference between the top and bottom is displayed by U-shaped tubes.

(3) Main configuration

  1. Object equipment composition: vortex fan, preheater, airflow distributor, high borosilicate fluidized bed, cyclone separator, solid feeding hopper;
  2. Detection system: bed thermometer, U-shaped differential pressure gauge, rotor flowmeter, heating tube, voltmeter and ammeter, heating tube, spray control box;
  3. Manual operating system: material loading, sampling operation, heating power adjustment, fluidized state observation, fluidized bed mechanical performance observation.
