This experimental device uses a stainless steel turntable inside the tower as the stator, and a motor at the top of the tower drives the shaft as the rotor to perform extraction operations on the liquid-liquid system. Two liquids flow in reverse flow inside the tower, with one phase liquid as the dispersed phase and passing through the other continuous phase liquid in the form of droplets. The concentrations of the two liquid phases undergo differential continuous changes inside the equipment, and the separation of the two phases is achieved at both ends of the tower by relying on the density difference.
(1) Experimental purpose
- Understand the basic structure, operating methods, and extraction process of the rotary extraction tower;
- Observe the flow conditions of light and heavy phases in the extraction tower during changes in the rotation speed of the turntable, understand the main influencing factors of the extraction operation, and study the influence of extraction operating conditions on the extraction process;
- Master the experimental measurement methods for the number of mass transfer units NOR, mass transfer unit height HOR, and extraction rate η per meter of extraction height.

- The main chemical parameters are detected and displayed using industrial application level instruments, with Hall sensors, frequency converters, and paperless recorders as the main control means for motor speed;
- In addition to performing all operations directly in the control cabinet, the experiment can also be remotely transmitted to the computer for intelligent adjustment and display instrument+serial communication+upper monitoring computer mode;
- Adopting the widely used industrial control configuration software platform, it runs stably and has a friendly interface.
