The LC11 series elliptical gear flowmeter is a direct reading cumulative instrument, which is a volumetric flowmeter that measures the total flow rate of liquid flowing through pipelines. It can be widely used for flow measurement in sectors such as petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical and health.

working principle
Under the action of the pressure difference between the liquid at the inlet and outlet of the instrument measurement room, a pair of elliptical gears continuously rotate on the shaft and discharge the liquid. By measuring the number of revolutions of the elliptical gears, the total value of the liquid flowing through the instrument can be determined.

Note:1. The flowmeter can be installed horizontally or vertically, but the elliptical gear shaft should be installed in a horizontal position.

2. The material of the flowmeter body includes cast iron (ordinary type, mainly used for measuring oil media) and stainless steel (anti-corrosion type)

To prevent debris in the measured medium from jamming the flowmeter, a filter must be installed in front of the meter for use.
