BQ-2 online oil analyzer infrared method

The new generation of online monitoring instruments for detecting trace oil concentrations in sewage is suitable for continuous monitoring of ship bottom oil and sewage discharge, with 15ppm over limit alarm and sewage discharge control functions. It is generally used in conjunction with a bilge oil-water separator.

Through type approval by China Classification Society, the performance indicators meet the requirements of Resolution MEPC. 107 (49) of the Maritime Environment Protection Committee of the International Maritime Organization.

Measurement principle:

Adopting infrared scattering measurement technology. By measuring the transmitted and scattered light signals of the discharged water through infrared spectroscopy, the oil content is measured through high-resolution photoelectric converters and microprocessor data processing. When the oil concentration in the discharged water exceeds the specified value (5ppm), the instrument will issue an alarm and output a control signal to control the excess. The accompanying bilge oil-water separator and shut-off device (solenoid valve) will be controlled, and the execution status of the shut-off device will be monitored to effectively prevent the direct discharge of excess sewage.
