5250i Oxygen and Dissolved Oxygen Analyzer
OxySense 5250i is the preferred oxygen analyzer for laboratories and individuals who need to conduct various research tests or evaluate packaging materials. These studies include: non-invasive headspace analysis of packaging, bottles, and blister packaging using O2xyDot sensors; Packaging materials and design evaluation; Closed design and evaluation; MAP production start-up monitoring; Research and development; Quality control and assurance, as well as product oxidation research.
For non-invasive measurements, the O2xyDot sensor can be placed in packaging or containers before filling and sealing to determine oxygen concentration. Multiple measurement results can be provided over time on the same suite, providing accurate analysis through real-time real-world measurements. Due to the measurement process used, the risk of sample contamination or leakage is eliminated.
This multifunctional instrument also has the ability to perform oxygen permeability analysis (OTR) on films, bottles, and packaging.

The barrier property of a material refers to the ability of the material to penetrate from one side to the other for a specific permeable object. Common permeation objects include common gases, water vapor, liquids, organic compounds, etc. The permeation process of the same material varies for different permeation objects. Generally, the barrier properties of materials are divided into three categories based on the properties of the permeation objects: barrier properties against inorganic gases (such as oxygen permeability, nitrogen permeability, carbon dioxide permeability), barrier properties against water vapor (moisture permeability), and barrier properties against organic compounds.
