4、 Adjustment of instruments

1. Install the dial gauge so that its measuring head is in direct contact with the surface of the measuring column. It is recommended to note how many micrometers the dial gauge pointer should display, and then fix the dial gauge.

2. Place the instrument on a workbench with sufficient strength and no vibration.

3. Keep the measuring column in contact with the micrometer probe, and then adjust the dial of the micrometer to align the pointer with the "0" position.

5、 Operation and usage methods:

Place the test piece between the measuring column and the micrometer probe for measurement. The correct operation is to pre select three measuring points on the substrate of the sample to be tested, mark the back of the sample, gently lift the micrometer shaft (push rod) bottom plate to fit the surface of the measuring column on the platform, and gently push the measuring point to the micrometer probe; Put down the dial indicator shaft (push rod), and the indicated value of the dial indicator is the thickness of the base plate. After the paint film coating is cured, the test piece surface is attached to the platform measuring column, and repeated measurements are taken up to three points. The increase in value is the coating thickness, which is usually taken as the average of the three points.
