Model701 is specifically designed to provide zero gas for dilution calibrators, and can also be used as a combustion aid for FID analyzers or as a cleaning gas source for permeation tube furnaces. The molecular sieve inside the instrument can remove moisture from the air. Molecular sieves can also help remove other gases, which can greatly improve the service life of chemical scrubbers. Model 701 includes an oil-free film pump with a washer, and a remover for removing SO2, N0, N02, 03, and H2S. Optional high-performance scrubbers can be used to eliminate CO and hydrocarbons.
After entering through the inlet, the air is pumped to a pre cooling device to remove moisture. Then the air passes through the molecular sieve, where it undergoes final drying before entering the gas storage tank. By monitoring the pressure of the gas storage tank, the pump can be automatically started periodically as needed to maintain the preset level of pressure inside the tank, which can extend the life of the pump and remover. The output gas can become clean and dry zero gas by passing through the filter. The microcontroller controls the molecular sieve and water removal valve to ensure that the pump does not start at full load pressure.
