lInstrument principle
The working electrode and counter electrode are immersed in the electrolyte chamber, and chlorine diffuses into the electrolyte chamber through a porous hydrophilic membrane, immediately reducing on the surface of the working electrode to form an electric current. Measuring the magnitude of the electric current can determine the residual chlorine concentration in the solution.
The entire measurement system mainly consists of two parts: instruments and electrodes. The electrodes are in contact with the measured aqueous solution, and the instruments display the residual chlorine value and working status of the aqueous solution.
The residual chlorine electrode adopts the German RG brand and operates on the principle of three electrode film current method.
The residual chlorine electrode adopts special permeable membrane technology, which has the characteristics of resisting chemical interference (mainly surface active agents) and reducing pH dependence. In conventional application environments, pH electrodes are not required, only the pH range of the solution is between 5-9. If pH is required for special application environments, pH electrodes can be added to form a dual channel instrument, which needs to be customized.
lApplication field
Widely used in various industries such as power plants, petrochemicals, metallurgical electronics, mining, papermaking, biological fermentation processes, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, environmental water treatment, aquaculture, etc., to continuously monitor and control the residual chlorine value of aqueous solutions. Such as testing of conventional drinking water, tap water, sewage purification, dosing equipment, CIP workshop detergents, circulating water, cooling water, medical wastewater purification, etc.
