working principle

The XHIVS-50A visibility and urban environment photography system uses an 880nm infrared LED as the measurement light source and a PIN silicon diode with a telephoto filter as the receiving device. It utilizes the forward scattering principle of infrared light by the air mass in the measured area to obtain optical range and visibility measurement data. The automatic environmental photography system is triggered by visibility events to obtain real visual information of the measured area, which is stored as historical data related to visibility data for research or observation purposes. The security real-time camera system monitors the internal facilities of the automatic station.

The visibility sensor is installed inside a lightweight casing, and the main body is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel material to enhance durability; Sensor heaters and sunshade heaters can prevent interference from condensation water, frost, and other factors on measurements; The measurement data is output in RS232 format.
The dustproof and waterproof rating reaches IP66, and the outdoor protective cover with automatic temperature control function can ensure that the internal industrial camera works normally all day long in harsh weather conditions.
