Testing dust on components of filters and heating/cooling air conditioning systems

This product is designed for testing dust on filters and components of heating, cooling, and air conditioning systems. It is also applied in component testing of electronic products and other industrial and household systems.

ASHRAE Test Dust # 1 uses 72% ISO 12103-1, A2 Fine Test Dust; Made by mixing 23% carbon powder and 5% crushed cotton fibers. The mixing is carried out in accordance with the provisions of ANSI/ASHRAE standard 52.2-2007.

ASHRAE Test Dust # 2 uses 93.5% ISO 12103-1, A2 Fine Test Dust; Made by mixing 6.5% crushed cotton fibers. Its mixture follows the ANSI/ASHRAE standard 52.2P - Public Review Draft (April 1996 edition);

Carbon black is Raven 410 powder, produced by Columbia Chemical Company;

Cotton fibers are obtained by grinding the second layer of cotton fibers through a 4mm sieve at Wiley Mill;

The carbon black contained in ASHRAE test dust has conductivity and may cause limited charging of electronic products;
