Attention to use

A reactor is a type of reaction equipment that must be operated carefully, otherwise it may be damaged due to various reasons, leading to production being forced to stop. There are many aspects to pay attention to when operating a reactor.

Secondly, before operation, carefully check for any abnormalities. During normal operation, do not open the upper cover or touch the wiring terminals on the board to avoid electric shock; It is strictly prohibited to operate under pressure; During the nitrogen pressure test, carefully observe the changes in the pressure gauge. Once the test pressure is reached, immediately close the nitrogen valve switch; The heating rate should not be too fast, and the pressurization should also be carried out slowly, especially the stirring speed, which is only allowed to increase slowly.

Afterwards, when the kettle body is heated to a higher temperature, do not come into contact with the kettle body to avoid burns; After the experiment, the temperature should be lowered first. Do not cool quickly to prevent damage caused by excessive temperature and pressure differences. At the same time, it is necessary to unplug the power supply in a timely manner.

At the same time, attention should be paid to maintenance of the reaction kettle after use, so that the high-pressure kettle can have a better service life.

The reaction kettle consists of a kettle body, kettle cover, jacket, stirrer, transmission device, shaft seal device, support, etc. When the aspect ratio of the mixing device is large, multiple layers of mixing blades can be used, and it can also be selected according to the user's requirements. A jacket is installed outside the kettle wall, or a heat exchange surface is installed inside the reactor, or heat exchange can be achieved through external circulation. 2. In general, mechanical seals are used for medium pressure or vacuum situations, with a pressure of negative pressure or 4 kilograms.

3. Magnetic sealing will be used under high pressure or high volatility of the medium, usually when the pressure exceeds 14 kilograms. Except for magnetic seals that use water cooling, other sealing forms will increase the cooling water jacket when the temperature exceeds 120 degrees.

Operation method of reaction kettle

1. Pour the reactants into a PTFE liner and ensure that the feeding coefficient is less than 0.8;

2. Ensure that the lower gasket of the kettle body is in the correct position (with the protrusion facing downwards), then insert the PTFE liner and upper gasket, tighten the kettle cover first, and then use screws to tighten the kettle cover until it is tight; Place the hydrothermal synthesis reactor in the heater and heat it up to the desired reaction temperature at the specified heating rate. (Below the specified safe operating temperature).

3. After confirming that the temperature inside the kettle is lower than the boiling point of the reactant solvent, the kettle lid can be opened for subsequent operations. When the reaction is completed and cooled down, it is also necessary to strictly follow the prescribed cooling rate for safety and the service life of the reaction kettle;

4. After confirming that the temperature inside the kettle is lower than the boiling point of the reactant solvent, first use a screw to unscrew the kettle cover, and then open the kettle cover;

5. The hydrothermal synthesis reactor should be cleaned promptly after each use to prevent rusting. Special attention should be paid to cleaning the sealing parts of the kettle body and kettle cover line, and strict precautions should be taken to prevent them from being damaged or bumped.
