The Sartorius needle filter is used for particle and bacterial removal filtration of gases and liquids. It can reliably remove microorganisms and particulate matter without affecting the solution due to adsorption or decomposition. In order to obtain high-quality results, the needle filter made of MBS shell material has high flow rate and low adsorption characteristics. The MBS shell material is distinguished by different colors according to the pore size of the filter.

*The replaceable polyethylene (PE) safety cone filter can serve as a rear barrier to prevent liquids and vapors from entering the internal components of the pipette. The standard safety cone filter is suitable for ordinary applications. They are used as additional filters for the same type of work, but do not require frequent replacement. Enhanced safety cone filters are used in radiation work, cell culture, bacteriology, virology, and molecular biology work. The interval for replacing filters depends on the purpose and sample. However, according to research, filters should be replaced daily (50-250 pipettes), and should be replaced immediately in case of excessive aspiration. To ensure user safety, tweezers should be used to replace the filter. The mLINE pipette has a filter cartridge removal design. In addition, wipe the suction cone with 70% ethanol before installing the new filter element.
