The Rotaro multi-purpose tachometer can be used to measure rotational speed and length. This tachometer has two operating modes: optical (non-contact) and mechanical (contact; with different connectors)
Using non-contact operation mode, the tachometer emits infrared radiation, which is reflected by the surface of the workpiece and the tachometer display screen promptly shows the rotational speed. The non-contact measurement distance can reach up to 600mm.
Using contact measurement, a suitable probe can be selected based on the measured workpiece, inserted into the tachometer, and the probe can directly contact the rotating workpiece to read the rotation speed and length.
The Rotaro dual-purpose tachometer includes a protective cover, protective box, measuring head, and accessories. Also includes calibration certificates and usage instructions.
