After passing through the septic tank, the sewage flows (pumped) into the anaerobic biological filter tank and passes from bottom to top through suspended biological packing material. This packing material has a large specific surface area, providing a comfortable growth environment for the reproduction of anaerobic microorganisms and maintaining a high level of anaerobic microorganisms in the tank. The microbial activity is high, the chain length is long, and the variety is diverse. The packing material continuously moves in the water, greatly improving the mass transfer efficiency of organic pollutants. The microbial community decomposes organic matter in the water faster, and the BOD treatment effect is much higher than other anaerobic treatment processes;
When sewage passes through the surface of the packing covered with biofilm, the organic matter in the sewage is removed by the adsorption of biofilm, the decomposition and metabolism of microorganisms, and the interception effect of filter media. At the same time, it also plays a filtering role. Finally, it flows out using the water level difference between inlet and outlet, and the aged and fallen biofilm settles at the bottom of the filter tank. It can be pumped away by environmental sanitation trucks every six months or a year, saving the sludge treatment process. The small amount of biogas formed by anaerobic reaction is discharged through the exhaust pipe, and the discharged gas is treated by the biogas treatment device before being discharged into the atmosphere.

Characteristics of biological anaerobic filter tank:
It mainly consists of a suspended anaerobic sludge bed, with the addition of fillers to fix and retain microbial communities, fully utilizing the sewage interception effect of the biological filter tank, and effectively improving the efficiency of COD removal from granular sludge; It is buried underground, does not occupy surface space, has no power consumption, and is easy to operate.
Composition of biological anaerobic filter tank:
The anaerobic filter tank for domestic sewage treatment equipment mainly consists of four parts: sedimentation tank, anaerobic contact tank, filtration tank, and biogas treatment device.
Sedimentation tank: After natural fermentation in the septic tank, the sewage flows into the sedimentation tank inside the equipment. The large particles in the sewage settle here, with a residence time of 12 hours. The settled sludge is regularly sucked out and treated by a mobile submersible sewage pump or a suction truck, usually for six months or a year.
Anaerobic contact tank: After sedimentation, the sewage flows into the anaerobic contact tank by itself, with a residence time of 20 hours. The water flows from bottom to top through spherical packing to form an anaerobic biofilm. Under the adsorption of the biofilm and the metabolism of microorganisms, organic matter in the sewage is removed.
Filter tank: After anaerobic treatment, the sewage flows into the bottom of the filter tank and passes through the filter layer from bottom to top. The filter material adopts a new type of granular filter material, which can not only intercept pollutants but also form biofilms. It is both a filtering effect and a secondary anaerobic tank in the filtration zone.
Biogas treatment device: A small amount of biogas is produced after anaerobic reaction of sewage, and the biogas is cleaned and discharged after treatment by the biogas treatment device.
Anaerobic fluidized bed is an efficient biofilm treatment method that uses specially developed substances with large areas as carriers. Anaerobic organisms attach to the surface of the carrier in the form of biofilms and can form a granular sludge bed of a certain height in the sludge tank, greatly improving the degradation efficiency of organic matter.
Construction precautions for anaerobic filter tank:
1. The external load situation should be considered, and the burial depth of the covering soil should be determined according to specific requirements. The backflow of sewage and the tilting of the pool body should be prevented.
2. After the completion of the pool body production, a water holding test should be conducted. After the water level in the pool reaches the specified level, check whether the connections at all points are tight, observe whether the height of the outlet weir is horizontal, and adjust it to achieve uniform forced water distribution.
3. During construction or operation, it is strictly prohibited to put or leave other solid waste into the pool or pipeline.
4. The foundation of the filter tank is selected based on the on-site bearing capacity. Generally, 100mm original crushed stone can be used, and a 200mm original reinforced concrete foundation can be laid on top.
