The LC-TS5 type quality management instrument for molten iron in front of the furnace uses the solidification temperature curve during the formation process of cast iron structure as the measured object. The instrument is equipped with a built-in computer to analyze the solidification temperature curve and obtain characteristic points of the curve under different compositions. Principle Overview:

The thermal analysis technology for the quality of molten iron originates from the phase diagram theory in metallurgy, and has been widely used in the detection and control of molten iron in front of the furnace since its development. It is a testing method in casting technology and plays an important role in the production of high-quality castings. The quality management instrument for molten iron is based on the solidification temperature curve during the formation process of cast iron structure. The instrument is equipped with a built-in computer to analyze the solidification temperature curve and obtain characteristic points of the curve under different compositions. Calculate the performance parameters of molten iron such as carbon equivalent (CE%), carbon content (C%), silicon content (Si%), spheroidization rate (SG%), and tensile strength (RM) based on the characteristic points of the curve. The detection time of the thermal analyzer is about 90 seconds, and the detection is completed within the waiting time of the molten iron. Then, the composition of the molten iron is adjusted according to the automatically calculated amount of carburizer, ferrosilicon, and scrap steel, and the appropriate composition of the molten iron is obtained before pouring.

Software features

CE、 C. Si content measurement: can measure the active CE, C, Si content of 10 target materials, and calculate the grade of molten iron (HT);

Iron liquid adjustment calculation: Based on the target composition range, iron liquid weight, carbonization yield, silicon yield, and measurement results, calculate the amount of carbonization agent, ferrosilicon, or scrap steel added that hits the target composition.

Measurement of spheroidization rate: By measuring the eutectic degree and undercooling of the molten iron, and assuming sufficient active Mg content, the spheroidization rate of the molten iron can be calculated.

Iron liquid composition management: Set the carbon equivalent, carbon content, and silicon content composition range based on the product grade. The instrument will display the content in different colors, with high values displayed in red and low values displayed in green. Users can also modify the content range themselves.
