The PolyPen RP 410 handheld plant spectrometer measures the reflectance spectrum of plant leaves using an internal light source (xenon incandescent lamp 380-1050nm), and can also measure the transmittance and absorbance of other light sources.
The PolyPen RP 410 handheld plant spectrometer measures the reflectance spectrum of plant leaves using an internal light source (xenon incandescent lamp 380-1050nm), and can also measure the transmittance and absorbance of other light sources. PolyPen has almost all commonly used plant reflectance spectral index formulas built-in in the software, such as NDVI, PRI, NDGI, etc. The measured data is displayed in real-time on the instrument's display screen in the form of graphics or data tables. These data can be stored in the instrument's memory and transmitted to the computer.
The PolyPen RP 410 is powered by a rechargeable lithium battery and can be measured independently without the need for a computer. The instrument is equipped with a full-color touchscreen display, built-in light source, built-in GPS, and non-destructive blade clamp for fixing samples. The blade clamp has a standard reference for calibrating light sources and detectors.
