Oxidation fanWe need to start with the desulfurization process, which is commonly used in power plants. The exhaust gas from power plants contains a large amount of sulfur dioxide. If it is directly discharged into the air, it will accumulate for a long time and form natural cultural hazards such as acid rain. In order to protect the environment, the country requires that the exhaust gas from power plants be treated and desulfurized before being discharged into the atmosphere, and oxidation fans will be used in the desulfurization process.
Interpretation of desulfurization process: The sulfur dioxide in the power plant exhaust gas is fused with calcium carbonate, and oxygen is required to intervene in this process. The first two undergo a chemical reaction under the oxidation of oxygen, producing calcium sulfate crystals and carbon dioxide. After this reaction, the sulfur dioxide will be removed, and the remaining gas will only be carbon dioxide, which will not cause air pollution when discharged into the air. The entire process of desulfurization technology is roughly like this. In order to provide sufficient oxygen, an oxidation fan is needed. The oxidation fan is input from the bottom and, under the action of a mixer, allows calcium carbonate to fully contact sulfur dioxide and air, ensuring the fusion degree of the two before.
The role of the oxidation fan in the desulfurization process is to facilitate pneumatic transportation and provide a certain pressure for the gas to be transported to the desired location. The oxidation fan is a pneumatic conveying equipment, and external air enters the oxidation fan. Under the action of the motor impeller, the oxidation fan forms a certain pressure flow of air, providing the corresponding medium for the required oxidation reaction.
The function of the oxidation fan:
It is designed to accelerate the oxidation rate, such as the oxidation fan in power plants, which oxidizes calcium sulfite into calcium sulfate. Calcium sulfite can also be oxidized under normal conditions, but in order to improve production efficiency, it is necessary to increase oxygen supply and promote oxidation. Usually, Roots blowers are used more frequently.
Structure principle of oxidation fan:
The oxidation fan is located in the oxidation fan room and is used to provide sufficient oxidation air for the slurry in the absorption tower. Manually switch the valve through a spear shaped air nozzle for isolation. When partitioning, the nozzle can be flushed by manually switching the valve by opening the flushing water pipe. The oxidation fan adopts Roots blower, each fan including lubrication system, inlet and outlet mufflers, inlet chamber, inlet pipeline (including filter), distribution system in the absorption tower, air duct, pipeline, valve, accessories, motor, coupling, fan, local control cabinet, cooler, etc.
