Equipment Introduction:

Roots blower is a type of positive displacement fan, which has two three bladed impellers that rotate relative to each other in a space sealed by the casing and wall panels. Due to the use of involute or epitrochoid enveloping curves as the machining profile of each impeller, the three blades of each impeller are the same, and the two impellers are also the same, which greatly reduces the difficulty of machining. The impeller is processed using CNC equipment, ensuring that the distance between the two impellers remains constant No matter where the two impellers rotate, they can maintain a certain minimum gap to ensure that gas leakage is within the allowable range.

Equipment installation:

The Roots blower generates vibration due to its high-speed operation, and the pulsation of the internal air also increases the vibration of the Roots blower. Therefore, the installation of the Roots blower needs to be fixed on the ground.

According to the different models of the fans, dig a 150 * 150mm square 300mm deep square pit on the ground according to the size of the fan, and embed anchor bolts. Then connect the fans together with bolts and nuts, and fill the square pit with cement concrete. After the concrete is fixed, tighten the nuts firmly to connect the fan base and concrete. This can reduce the vibration displacement of the Roots blower during operation, improve the operating status of the equipment, and greatly extend the service life of the fan due to the reduction of vibration.

Notes:

1. Fans should not be installed in places where people frequently enter and exit to prevent injury and burns. Fans should not be installed in places that are prone to producing flammable, explosive, and corrosive gases to prevent accidents such as fire and poisoning.

2. According to the direction of the intake and exhaust ports and maintenance needs, there should be sufficient space around the foundation surface.

3. When installing the fan, it is necessary to check whether the foundation is firm, whether the surface is flat, and whether the foundation is higher than the ground.

4. When configuring the fan outdoors, a rain shelter should be installed.

5. When transporting media such as air, biogas, and natural gas, the dust content should generally not exceed 100mg/m3.

6. The fan can be used for a long time in an environment temperature not exceeding 40 ℃. When it exceeds 40 ℃, cooling measures such as exhaust fans should be installed to improve the service life of the fan.
