High temperature button battery module HTCC is MMC 274 Nexus ® One of the optional calorimeter modules, dedicated to the research of button batteries. The principle is similar to the differential scanning principle of DSC, which uses a vertically structured differential heat flux sensor and a blank reference crucible as a comparison to perform temperature rise scanning or isothermal testing in a uniform furnace body. At the same time, the furnace body of MMC-HTCC is designed with 3D insulation, which maintains an adiabatic and temperature free state between the furnace body and the sample during isothermal calorimetry, ensuring sensitive and accurate capture of weak heat flux.
This instrument can be used in conjunction with a fully functional battery analyzer. The calorimeter data obtained from MMC can be displayed and analyzed in the same graph as the current and voltage data obtained from charge discharge cycles/analyzers. Users can conduct isothermal charge discharge cycle tests on the entire battery or half battery to evaluate heat generation and charge discharge efficiency, and observe changes in battery performance after multiple cycles. Button batteries can also be used as crucibles to assemble battery materials into button batteries according to a certain formula, and then subjected to temperature scanning to observe the reaction and decomposition processes as well as their heat absorption and release effects.
