Taurus Building Materials Heat Transfer Testing System (Protection Hot Box Method)

Protect the hot box testing room and comply with DIN EN ISO 8990,DIN EN 12412,DIN EN ISO 12567,ASTM C-1363,DIN EN 1121。

The compact testing rooms TDW 4140 and TDW 4240 are designed specifically for testing building components and parts such as windows, profiles, doors, and domes. They basically simulate the temperature and natural convection inside and outside buildings. As an optional accessory, the humidity levels of the two parts of the chamber can be set as needed. The setting of all parameters, complete data recording, detailed analysis, and printing of test reports are performed through the HotBox 2016 software on the measurement and control unit. Provide other optional equipment, accessories, and materials to assist in sample preparation and pre-processing to optimize the testing process.

Instrument features:

  • Insulated cold and hot zones with heat exchanger and deflector, radial fan, anti roll cage on guide rail, and 12 point locking system
  • Hot box with axial fan, guide plate, roller chassis, and hydraulic cylinder
  • Insulation test stand with roller chassis and opening, which can be inserted into the sample by forklift
  • Water cooled circulating cooler, used to control the temperature of the hot and cold areas
  • 2 isothermal modules, each with 60 measurement points, 1 set of thermocouples, and flow sensors
  • Equipped with a 19 inch measurement and control module, PC, Panel for printer and 23 inch monitor
  • Interface: 2 RS232, 5 USB, 1 Gigabit Ethernet
  • Single License for HotBox 2016 Software
  • 1 test mask per sample
  • Each sample comes with a set of calibration plates containing factory calibration certificates
  • 1 set of stainless steel guide rails for hot and cold areas
