1、 Introduction and working principle:

The MH-CSX ultrasonic wind speed and direction sensor, also known as ultrasonic wind speed and direction meter or ultrasonic wind speed and direction meter, can be combined with different acquisition devices to form a multi-channel wind speed and direction monitoring system. Its working principle is to use ultrasonic time difference method to measure wind speed and direction. Due to the superposition of the speed of sound propagation in the air and the airflow velocity in the wind direction. If the propagation direction of ultrasound is the same as the wind direction, its speed will increase; On the contrary, if the propagation direction of ultrasound is opposite to the wind direction, its speed will slow down. So, under fixed detection conditions, the speed of ultrasound propagation in air can correspond to the wind speed function. Accurate wind speed and direction can be obtained through calculation. This sensor has high measurement accuracy, reliable performance, easy portability, no moving parts, and does not require maintenance or on-site calibration.
