The SOLYS 2 dual axis sun tracker is an all-weather positioning platform that is fully automatic and does not require a computer or software installation. The integrated GPS receiver automatically configures location and time data. Multi color LED indicator lights for operational status and Ethernet ports allow software upgrades. An efficient belt drive system does not require maintenance. The hard and sturdy cast aluminum casing features a tripod with leveling feet. And it comes with Kipp&Zonen direct radiation meter installation accessories and a second side panel suitable for additional direct radiation meters. The top mounting plate can be used to facilitate the installation of three Kipp&Zonen radiometers. The sunshade component accessories include a top mounting plate and allow the tracker to be configured as a complete solar monitoring station. Due to the time being updated by the GPS receiver, SOLYS 2 is not affected by internal clock drift. The solar sensor is optional for active tracking to ensure the stability of the support platform.
