-KIPP ZONEN SHP1 Direct Radiation MeterWorking Principle:
SHP1 is a direct radiometer with built-in intelligent functions on the world stage. Based on validated CHP1 design and measurement technology, it adds digital signal processing to improve performance and interfaces optimized for industrial data acquisition and control systems. The fast response time and separate temperature correction make it an ideal first level direct radiometer under ISO specifications. The renewable energy sector typically requires high-quality direct radiation (DNI) irradiance data, especially for centralized systems (CPV and CSP). For example, when searching for solar farms on a "search" website, the annual available energy is a key part of the decision-making process. The direct radiometer must be accurately pointed towards the sun at all times, and the Kipp&Zonen automatic sun tracker is specially designed for this purpose.
-KIPP ZONEN SHP1 Direct Radiation MeterInstrument features:
SHP1 is a direct solar radiometer designed according to the standard of ISO 9060 Level 1 measuring instrument. SHP1 combines CHP1 sensor technology with intelligent interface advantages, making it an ideal primary direct radiation measurement instrument on the market. The intelligent interface provides analog and digital outputs, and independently calibrates the temperature sensitivity of the measuring instrument within the range of -40 ° C to+70 ° C. The improvement of response time and standardized output enables recalibration with different instruments. The SHP1 direct solar radiometer has low power consumption and can operate at various power supply voltages, making it an ideal choice for power critical applications. There are two models of SHP1 solar direct radiometer, one with an analog output of 0 to 1V and the other with an output of 4 to 20 mA. Both comply with odbus ® RS-485 (2-core) signal output of RTU protocol. The included Smart Sensor Explorer software can connect an additional 10 direct radiometers to Windows ™ computer; Used for configuration, testing, reading settings and parameters, as well as basic data recording functions.
