Hepatic sinusoidal endothelial cells are the most numerous non parenchymal cells in the liver, accounting for about 70% of the total number of non parenchymal cells. They differ significantly in phenotype and function from ordinary capillary endothelial cells. There is a lack of intercellular connections between the endothelial cells of the hepatic sinusoids, and there is little basement membrane material under the cells. Therefore, the permeability of the sinusoids is high, which is conducive to regulating substance exchange.
Unlike the self replication of liver cells, newly generated LSECs during liver regeneration mainly come from the differentiation and substitution of other cellular components inside and outside the liver. Many studies have confirmed the bone marrow-derived substitution of LSECs during liver regeneration. Endothelial progenitor cells are the main cellular components involved in this process.
Windows are characteristic structures of liver sinusoidal endothelial cells, ranging from<10nm to 1-2 μ m. Under physiological conditions, due to the presence of window structures and the lack of a complete basement membrane structure beneath the endothelium, the liver sinusoidal wall composed of liver sinusoidal endothelial cells is a capillary wall in the whole body that lacks a basement membrane. Except for blood cells inside the sinus, plasma components can enter the Disse gap through windows for substance exchange.
Cell characteristics
1) The cells are derived from normal liver tissue of experimental animals.
2) Cell identification: Von Willebrand factor (vWF) immunofluorescence staining was positive.
3) After identification, the purity of the cells was found to be higher than 90%.

Depending on the weather conditions and transportation distance, the company and the customer will negotiate and choose one of the following methods.
1) 1mL cryopreserved cell suspension is put into 1.8ml cryopreserved tube and transported in foam insulation box filled with dry ice; After receiving the cells, please thaw and revive them for cultivation as soon as possible. If resuscitation cannot be performed immediately, the frozen cells can be stored at -80 ℃ for one month.
2) The T-25 culture bottle is filled with culture medium and transported at room temperature; After receiving the cells, please observe the growth status of the cells under a microscope. If the bottle laying rate exceeds 85%, immediately perform passaging operation. If there are many suspended cells, please place the culture bottle in the incubator overnight to help non dead suspended cells adhere to the wall again.
