HP-2CTC resin is a porous polymer used for solid-phase synthesis of peptides, in which functional groups are bonded to the hydroxyl end of amino acids for peptide chain growth. Compared to Wang resin, HP-2CTC resin can avoid many side reactions and has mild cutting conditions, making it suitable for fragment synthesis to prepare higher purity long-chain peptides. Therefore, HP-2CTC resin should have a large number of stable functional groups to improve yield, and fully swell in solvents to reduce steric hindrance and increase binding rate. The synthesis route of HP-2CTC carrier resin is mature, and the quality of different batches of products is stable with uniform characteristics. The carrier resin has a high degree of functional group substitution, which can quickly bind amino acids, and the amino acid loading can reach 1.2-1.5mmol/g, which is superior to most commercially available products. The carrier resin swells sufficiently in DMF and DCM, and the amino acid reaction is sufficient and the binding rate is fast during the preparation process, which helps to improve the purity and efficiency of subsequent reactions.
