Looking at the performance curve of the pump, we all know that there is a low efficiency zone in the operation of the pump. For example, when the rated flow rate is 20 cubic meters and 60 meters, the efficiency of Huazhen Water's stainless steel multi-stage pump is high at this node, reaching 72%. This means that when we need 6 kilograms of outlet pressure and a water flow rate of 20 cubic meters, the pump can exert its maximum efficiency. However, our water flow rate is often constantly changing. What should we do when the water flow rate is 21 cubic meters? Some manufacturers have two main pumps and a total water supply flow of 40 cubic meters, but this phenomenon occurs when the water consumption is 21 cubic meters. If one pump is not enough, two pumps will be put into operation. But when two pumps are running again, even if one pump is variable frequency, the pump in the variable frequency only provides one cubic meter of water, which is difficult to obtain in design. This will make the program judge that there are two more pumps, and then stop one pump. However, soon one pump cannot meet the water supply capacity, and two more pumps have to be started. Therefore, the equipment will repeatedly start and stop the pumps at this node during operation. This greatly undermines the stability of the constant pressure water supply. Moreover, the operating efficiency of a 20 square meter water pump is very low at 1 square meter, only 10%, including only 40% at 5 square meters. Principle of Intelligent Box Pump Station: Analyze the water in the pipeline network, which enters the steady flow compensator through the pipeline, filter, and backflow preventer, and then passes through the steady flow compensator to be pressurized by the water pump to the user. The water supply process is relatively simple, and its core technology is how to eliminate negative pressure during the water supply process. The core component lies in the structure and principle of the steady flow compensator. The following figure is a structural sectional view of the steady flow compensator. Through this figure, we can analyze how the equipment eliminates negative pressure.
There are several situations here:
When the supply of tap water exceeds the user's water consumption, it can be supplied normally without generating negative pressure.
Secondly, when the water supply of tap water cannot meet the peak demand of users, the steady flow compensator can play a role in replenishing water in a short period of time. Due to the decrease in water volume of the steady flow compensator, the water level of the compensator will drop, forming a vacuum, and negative pressure will occur inside the compensator. If no measures are taken at this time, it will inevitably affect the water supply pressure of the tap water network, causing pressure disorder in the surrounding tap water network. In response to this situation, other manufacturers use a component called a "vacuum suppressor" to eliminate the vacuum. When the supply of tap water cannot meet the user's water demand, the water level in the compensator (i.e. chamber B) drops and a vacuum occurs. The gas in chamber A will be introduced into chamber B due to the pressure difference, thereby achieving the effect of breaking the vacuum and eliminating negative pressure. Secondly, the "toxic gas" pre stored in chamber A is slowly absorbed and dissolved by water after coming into contact with the water in chamber B. Over time, the gas in chamber A will be dissolved and absorbed by water, creating a new vacuum and resulting in a lack of gas to replenish. Once chamber B experiences a vacuum; If there is no air to replenish in chamber A, it is impossible to eliminate vacuum and negative pressure phenomena.
Thirdly, when the liquid level of the compensator drops to 1/3 of the B chamber, the equipment will experience a protective shutdown. How can we ensure the water supply for high-level users at this time? In addition, the instability of the water level can cause frequent opening of the water pump and disorder of user water pressure. How can we solve this problem?
