1. Quantum dotsofPrinciples of Optics
The particles of compound semiconductors and oxide semiconductors with sizes ranging from several nanometers to tens of nanometers are called quantum dots. By exchanging the wavelength of light emitted by blue LEDs, the desired wavelength of light can be obtained. The smaller the quantum dot, the shorter the wavelength can be generated, and the larger the quantum dot, the longer the wavelength can be generated.
A single quantum dot emits narrow spectral light of longer wavelengths by absorbing short wavelength light. By preparing and collecting quantum dots of the same size, high color purity and sharp spectral emission of pink can be obtained, which can achieve and improve color reproducibility and reduce power consumption.
