Electrode Vertical Insertion Ussing Chamber

The C4300 Yusi chamber is a new type of Yusi perfusion chamber designed based on existing similar products to address issues in use. Widely used for drug absorption, nutrient absorption, barrier function and permeability, as well as cross epithelial transport research of various epithelium in the isolated intestine.

The C4300 electrode vertical insertion type Eustace chamber consists of two transparent half chambers, with a unilateral volume of 2-8ml. A sample holder containing epithelial tissue is inserted in the middle and installed on a specially designed Eustace chamber base. It can provide nutrient solution, oxygen, and constant temperature to the isolated epithelial tissue, allowing it to maintain physiological activity for a long time in vitro, facilitating in vitro studies of its absorption, secretion, permeability, and other functions.

The C4300 electrode vertical insertion type Usher chamber is a new type of Usher chamber (Usher perfusion chamber) optimized and improved on the basis of P2300. In response to the cumbersome operation of emptying the small chamber solution before replacing the electrode in the original P2300 Yusi chamber, the easy corrosion of the electrode metal parts by salt solution, and the problem of air intake inside the electrode caused by solution leakage, C4300 has undergone a new optimization.

The optimized C4300 has the following advantages:

1. The installation and removal of electrodes are very easy, without the need to forcefully insert or remove them like the P2300 (to avoid leakage).

2. When replacing electrodes, there is no need to empty the solution in the small chamber, thus avoiding tissue exposure to air and avoiding tedious operations.

3. Due to the vertical installation of the electrode, there will be no leakage of the electrode filling liquid, which may cause gas to enter the electrode and lead to circuit breakage.

4. There is no problem of salt solution corrosion on the plug-in components of vertically installed electrodes.

5. In situations where electrodes are not used for measurement (such as simple drug transport and absorption experiments), simply remove the electrode and there is no need to plug the electrode insertion hole with a plug (like in P2300).
