The merging valve has two inlets and one outlet, and its function is to merge two fluids into a third fluid. The diverging valve has one inlet and two outlets, and divides one fluid into two streams, thereby achieving fluid mixing, heating or cooling, or uneven distribution of fluids, meeting the requirements of various working conditions. However, merging and diverging valves can only be selected accordingly. When the nominal diameter and pressure difference are small, merging valves can be used for diverging situations. When the nominal diameter DN is ≥ 80mm and the pressure difference is large for diverging situations, only diverging valves can be used.

They can replace two single seat or double seat control valves with one valve, saving installation of pipelines and investment, and occupying less space. It is composed of a 3810 series or PSL series linear electric actuator and a three-way regulating valve body, powered by a power source, and receives a unified standard signal of 0-10mA DC or 4-20mA Dc to drive the valve opening to correspond to this operation signal, achieving the adjustment of working parameters such as pressure, flow rate, liquid level, and temperature.

The valve body of the electric three-way regulating valve is a three-way structure, with one inlet and two outlets (diversion type) and two inlets and one outlet (merging type). The three-way merging regulating valve is used to mix two fluids into a third fluid, or two fluids of the same temperature mixed into the same temperature fluid. A three-way splitter valve divides a fluid into two streams.
