The Clark technique is currently widely used for dissolved oxygen measurement. The electrode can generate a current proportional to the oxygen partial pressure, which can be measured using appropriate measurement methods. To prevent interference, the Clark electrode is covered with a breathable film. The PTFE membrane commonly used in the past is very brittle in physical properties, so it must be replaced frequently to ensure reliable measurement. To address this issue, InnoSens420 used the more stable OPTIFLOW membrane, which can remain stable even in harsh environments such as high pressure. This design ensures fast response time even at low traffic levels.
