Basic Principles


A heat exchanger is a device that transfers a portion of the heat from a hot fluid to a cold fluid, also known as a heat exchanger. A tubular heat exchanger consists of a shell, tube bundle, tube plate, baffle plate, and head. The relative flow direction of fluid in a heat exchanger generally includes two types: co current and counter current. When flowing downstream, the temperature difference between the two fluids at the inlet gradually decreases along the heat transfer surface. When flowing in reverse, the temperature difference distribution between the two fluids along the heat transfer table is relatively uniform
