Characteristics of arsine gas:

Hydrogen arsenide is a strong hemolytic toxin. It is generally believed that hydrogen arsenide in the blood combines with hemoglobin to form an arsenic hemoglobin complex, causing acute hemolytic symptoms and jaundice in poisoned individuals. In addition, arsine also has direct toxic effects on the heart, liver, lungs, and other organs.

The degree of arsine poisoning is closely related to the concentration of inhaled arsine, and the shorter the incubation period, the more severe the clinical manifestations.

Mild poisoning may cause symptoms such as dizziness, headache, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, joint and lower back pain, and mild jaundice of the skin and sclera. The urine sample may appear oily and may be accompanied by liver damage.

Severe poisoning occurs rapidly, with symptoms such as high fever, coma, convulsions, severe jaundice throughout the body, and oliguria or anuria. At the same time, the urine sample appeared dark brown, indicating acute renal failure accompanied by liver damage
