Overview

Characteristics of arsine gas:
Arsenide is a colorless gas with the chemical formula AsH3 and a molecular weight of 77.95. Highly toxic, with a garlic odor. Hydrogen arsenide is a strong hemolytic toxin. It is generally believed that hydrogen arsenide in the blood combines with hemoglobin to form an arsenic hemoglobin complex, causing acute hemolytic symptoms in poisoned individuals. In addition, arsine also has direct toxic effects on the heart, liver, lungs, and other organs. The degree of arsine poisoning is closely related to the concentration of inhaled arsine, and the shorter the incubation period, the more severe the clinical manifestations.
