Aflatoxin is a secondary metabolite produced by fungi such as Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus parasiticus. It is classified as a Class 1 carcinogen by the World Health Organization's cancer research agency and is also a highly toxic substance widely present in various foods. Corn, peanuts, rice, wheat and other grains and their by-products are the main sources of aflatoxin, while aflatoxin B in feed1Aflatoxin M1 produced after animal metabolism still has strong and carcinogenic properties, and is widely present in foods such as milk, blood, and tissues. Aflatoxin, as one of the three major causes of liver cancer and the main cause of diseases such as gastric cancer and colon cancer, poses a great threat to human health. Countries around the world have strict regulations on aflatoxin in food and feed. The safety standards for dairy products, which came into effect on June 1, 2010, stipulate the detection of aflatoxin M1 in milk and dairy products. The main sample pretreatment method used is the use ofAflatoxin M1 Immunoaffinity Columnpurify.
The products produced by our companyAflatoxin M1 Immunoaffinity ColumnIt is a high-performance immunoaffinity column designed for cleaning (purifying) or concentrating samples before performing HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography), LC-MS (liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry), ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay).
Used for qualitative and quantitative detection of aflatoxin M1 in samples such as milk, powdered milk, fermented milk, cheese, cream, and sample pretreatment.
Column capacity:≥200ng
rate of recovery:≥80%
The determination of this product is based on antigen antibody reaction. The monoclonal antibody of aflatoxin M1 is connected to the gel in the column. The aflatoxin M1 in the sample is extracted, filtered and diluted, and then the sample extract is slowly passed throughAflatoxin M1 Immunoaffinity ColumnIn the immunoaffinity column, the biotin binds to the antibody, and then the immunoaffinity column is washed to remove any other substances that have not been bound. Wash aflatoxin M1 with methanol and inject it into the analytical instrument HPLC for detection.
