As the main equipment of the sewage treatment aeration system, the micro porous aerator works by sending the air provided by the air compressor through the pipeline system at the bottom of the aeration tank to the micro porous aerator distributed at the bottom of the aeration tank. The compressed air is blocked by the small holes on the membrane of the micro porous aerator, forming small bubbles with a diameter of about 2mm. The small bubbles are distributed and diffused into the water body of the aeration tank, fully contacting with the sewage, effectively dissolving oxygen into the sewage for microbial metabolism and biochemical treatment in the activated sludge, removing organic matter from the sewage, and achieving the purpose of purifying the sewage.

During ventilation, the microporous membrane will bulge upwards, and the holes on the membrane will open, generating bubbles to oxygenate the sewage. The degree of bulging is related to the ventilation pressure. When the ventilation is stopped, the holes close, and the membrane contracts with its own tension and tightly adheres to the circular (arched) chassis, preventing foreign objects such as sewage from flowing back into the ventilation pipeline, ensuring that the microporous aerator can remain sealed.

The design of air pipes should consider pressure balance and form a circular network. Each set of intake pipes should be equipped with valves to facilitate the adjustment of air volume. Design flow rate of air pipe: 10-15 meters/second for main pipe; The branch pipe is 5 meters per second. The installation height of the aerator surface from the bottom of the tank is 270mm and 250mm, and the push plate is 200mm.
