Recently, Jiefa Technology's AC7870x series automotive grade MCU under NavInfo passed the ISO 26262 ASIL D functional safety product certification of T Ü V Rheinland Group in Germany and was awarded the certification certificate. This marks that the AC7870x series has reached the high security level application requirements of the automotive industry in terms of functional safety design, development process, security mechanism, and verification system. It also means that Jiefa Technology's automotive grade MCU development capabilities can meet the highest functional safety level requirements of the automotive industry, and product applications will further move towards high computing power, high real-time performance, and high functional safety level domain control MCU scenarios.

ISO 26262 is a globally recognized automotive functional safety standard, covering the entire lifecycle of automotive electronic and electrical systems from concept, development, validation to production support. ASIL D is the highest automotive safety integrity level under this standard, typically aimed at safety related application scenarios such as power, chassis, and intelligent driving. With the evolution of automotive electronic and electrical architecture from distributed ECU to domain control, regional control, and more centralized architecture, automotive grade MCUs not only need to meet real-time control and reliability requirements, but also need to have higher levels of functional safety capabilities, software ecosystem adaptation capabilities, and system level development support capabilities.
