After the successful trial run of the first domestically produced 450000 tons/year polypropylene mixing and extrusion granulation unit developed by Da Rubber Company at the Tarim Phase II ethylene project site of PetroChina Dushanzi Petrochemical, good news came again from the project site. Two domestically produced 450000 tons/year full density polyethylene extrusion granulation units developed by Da Rubber successfully completed low-speed and high load material verification on May 23rd and 24th, respectively. At this point, the three domestically produced first sets of 450000 tons/year large-scale extrusion granulation units provided by Da Rubber have all successfully completed the stage trial tasks, laying a solid foundation for the operation of key equipment for the construction of the second phase of the tower project and pressing the accelerator button for project progress. Da Rubber will continue to work hard, focus on meeting customer needs, and provide refined and optimized research and development services for the entire lifecycle of petrochemical equipment with profound technical expertise. We will accelerate the promotion of the "1 to 10 to 100" replicable model, form strong market competitiveness, and achieve order scale growth.

On May 18th, the first full density polyethylene extrusion granulation unit started a no-load test run, and the equipment operated smoothly and in normal condition. After multiple rounds of working condition optimization, the unit completed a high-speed and high load loading test of 70 tons/hour on May 21st. The core processes such as mixing, extrusion, and cutting operate stably, and the product particle quality fully meets the design standards. On May 23rd, the front-line units successfully passed the retest, and the stability of full operating conditions was double verified.
While the first unit is steadily advancing, the second full density polyethylene extrusion granulation unit is synchronously carrying out trial work, completing the high and low speed trial nodes significantly ahead of schedule, and successfully completing all tests on May 24th. All operational indicators of the two units meet the standards, and the trial work is successfully concluded.
At the critical moment of unit commissioning, Tian Changjun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Heavy Industry Equipment Group and President of Dalian Heavy Industry, was invited to Xinjiang on May 21 to attend the handover ceremony of the 1.2 million tons/year second phase ethylene and supporting green low-carbon demonstration project of PetroChina Dushanzi Petrochemical Tarim and visit and comfort the participating cadres and employees of Dalian Rubber and Plastics on site. Dai Dechao, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Da Rubber Company, and other relevant leaders participated in the above-mentioned activities.
During the ceremony, Tian Changjun listened to the customer's explanation of the acceptance results of the large rubber extrusion machine equipment from China Communications Construction, and had in-depth exchanges with industry colleagues on the high-quality development of the petrochemical industry. On behalf of the group company, he congratulated the successful completion of the equipment handover for the Tower Phase II project, stating that the handover is only the beginning of the next step of work. Da Rubber will continue to complete subsequent tasks at high speed and with high quality, and continue to provide customers with thoughtful services throughout the entire lifecycle.
Tian Changjun and his team listened to the progress report of the project at the site of three sets of extrusion granulation units, fully affirmed the work of the participating cadres and employees, and conveyed the customer's gratitude for the meticulous service and recognition of the achievements of Da Rubber. At the same time, he inquired in detail about the difficulties encountered by the on-site personnel in their work and life, and requested that resources be properly allocated to effectively solve practical difficulties for everyone.
Tian Changjun emphasized the need to timely summarize various problems that occurred on site, form standard working methods, and apply the improved results to the subsequent commissioning services of the units. Efforts should be made to create a benchmark project for the second phase of the tower, fully leverage the influence and demonstration value of the project in the industry, and provide effective reference for the promotion of large-scale petrochemical projects in the future.
