Abstract: With the increasing demand for refined operation of sewage treatment plants, the high energy consumption and maintenance difficulties of mixing equipment have become the focus of technological transformation. This article combines the on-site renovation data of Sapphire Wastewater Treatment Plant to analyze how the Chuanyuan MJN mixer, through vertical axial flow design and efficient hydraulic model, can solve the problem of sludge deposition while achieving up to 80% reduction in installed power, providing the industry with a device update idea that combines process stability and economy.
1、 Industry background: The "invisible loss" of mixing energy efficiency
In the sewage treatment process, although the single unit power of the mixing unit is not as large as that of the blower, its cumulative energy consumption cannot be underestimated due to its long opening time and large quantity. Traditional submersible or frame mixers are limited by flow field structures and often face the dilemma of not being able to achieve both "anti settling" and "low energy consumption". In order to eliminate blind spots, engineers are often forced to increase motor power, resulting in a significant amount of energy waste.
