On April 22nd, Guangzhou Juwan Technology Research Co., Ltd. and Wuhan Power Battery Recycling Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Greenmei Group, officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly build a green industrial chain for the entire life cycle of power batteries, including cell manufacturing, battery recycling, material regeneration, and remanufacturing. The goal is to build a green and low-carbon circular system for the battery industry through the innovative model of "waste for raw materials".

This cooperation is a strong alliance between the front-end XFC high-speed charging power battery and the back-end battery recycling capability. As a leading enterprise in XFC fast charging battery technology incubated by GAC Group, Juwan Technology Research will rely on its nationwide power regeneration coverage and overseas battery recycling network and green processing technology to achieve standardized recycling, reuse, and material regeneration of retired batteries, and jointly promote the closed-loop application of battery materials.
Both parties will focus on four areas of cooperation:
1. Jointly build a recycling system: integrate channel resources from both parties, establish a retired battery recycling service network and a full lifecycle information traceability mechanism;
2. Deepen supply chain collaboration: Power regeneration will recycle the waste batteries and battery waste generated by Juwan Technology Research, provide green regenerated raw materials such as nickel, cobalt, lithium, etc. to Juwan Technology Research, and achieve a full life cycle loop from waste to materials, and then to battery manufacturing;
3. Promote technological cooperation: Conduct joint research and development around battery green design, easy disassembly technology, repair materials, and ultra fast charging technology for low-speed vehicles;
4. Strengthen ESG practices: jointly explore battery carbon footprint management, zero carbon factory construction, and assist in the green transformation of the new energy industry.
This cooperation will provide an innovative paradigm for battery lifecycle management in China's new energy vehicle industry chain, effectively hedge the risk of raw material price fluctuations, enhance supply chain resilience and resource security capabilities, and promote the industry towards a new stage of green, low-carbon, and sustainable high-quality development.
